It doesn't matter what situation you find yourself in, with the help of Speak For Yourself, not only can you learn the skills and techniques for speaking to groups of people but you also build up your confidence to do it well.

Speak For Yourself is a group of people who meet regularly to help each other to learn and practise public speaking and related skills. We do short, simple exercises, give positive and constructive feedback to each other and share our individual experiences. The meetings are quite relaxed, hands-on and a bit of fun too!

Give It A Try

At present we meet in Darlington, North East England, every couple of weeks.

You are welcome to come along to one of our meetings without any committment, just to see what we do and how it works. This invitation is also extended to members of other speakers' clubs from around the world who are visiting the area.

Also, some of our members are actively seeking opportunities to talk on various subjects which may be of interest to you or your group.
